Can a collection group that purchased my credit account from another bank sue me? November 27, 2009
Posted by Banking in : Credit , 4commentsOriginal collector was Providian Bank (credit card) on March 2001. The account was charged off May 7,2002 and transferred to Asset Acceptance collections which purchased the account in Janurary of 2003. I have been served with papers to go to court because they waant to sue me. Is this possible? Is there anything I can do to fight this?

According to my credit report it was to fall off in October of 2008.Submited by:jes24/7
