Where should I go to get a new Credit Card? March 22, 2010

I have a chapter 7 about 5 years ago, good payment hitsory since then, recently bought a car, never been late on anything since the chapter 7, i have two credit cards now that are more than a year old each and have never been late, i’m a full time employee and a college student. I want to open one more C. caard account so I have a total of three, but don’t want to go to a “high risk” creditor; my two cards right now are with Capital One.

Some people tell me it’s “Capital One” other say that’s the worst since they get unknown charges, others say that the credit card from your bank is better. So which credit card has been best for you guys??? This is my first time getting a credit card (in which I hate them’ cause u get addicted to it) so I have no idea of which 1 to get.

I currently have 3 credit cards. A capital one, gap and just opened a citi bank a month and a half ago. I currently have a score at 684 and have had my capital one open for 2 years now. I am 21 but I want to make my score higher. I pay the cards off in full all the time but is one more card too many? will that affect my score if I have 4 or 5 cards?Submited by:hyphymane88
