As long as you did not sign anything you are not obligated for any payments. If they keep harassing you, let them know you are going to speak to an attorney about this matter being you have nothing to do with someone putting you down as a reference. If all else fails, call an attorney and see if you have a case to file suite. Maybe, if they keep bothering you, you might be able to get something in return for being harassed.
