Where should I go to get a new Credit Card? March 22, 2010

Posted by Banking in : Credit , trackback
I have a chapter 7 about 5 years ago, good payment hitsory since then, recently bought a car, never been late on anything since the chapter 7, i have two credit cards now that are more than a year old each and have never been late, i’m a full time employee and a college student. I want to open one more C. caard account so I have a total of three, but don’t want to go to a “high risk” creditor; my two cards right now are with Capital One.

try not to get too many credit cards. They can skyrocket your interests at anytime. Many times people look for credit cards as a solution but they are really a hassle in the long term. If you can manage it then that would be great. I would recommend HSBC. I have one with Best Buy and they have been pretty good to me.

STAY AWAY FROM 1FBUSA!!!! They skyrocket your interests after 1 year, double your minimum payment, HORRIBLE customer service, and charge you $9 for everytime you pay unless you mail your payments. They dont give you information on money spent or charges made to your account unless it is by mail or charge you for making your payments. They use that as an advantage to make more money off of you and then they dont help you in anyway.

Capitol one has not given me any problems. I love that credit card company.

I think Absolute best place to pickup a new credit card is Credit Card Terminal. you can compare cards to each other for rates and such. I always check my cards here. Good luck
