I just became a landlord and need to do a credit check. Where can I go to do this?

You might try joining the local Apartment House Association in your city. There is a fee for joining, but they offer their members many services covering renting and tenant laws, as well as the ability to run your credit reports.
They have many things you will need as a landlord. When you contact them you might inquire of the fees and dues to join, cost to run a credit check, what other services they offer and when and where they hold their monthly meetings.
