Hello Dear,

I think I think they modify it if you call them temporarily though but no they won’t just modify it to help you benefit from the lower rates.

In some narrow circumstances, yes – under loan modification programs. But they are not likely to unless you meet the criteria for those programs. Just wanting a lower rate is not enough.
