I need to open a bank account but im 17, so how do i go about doing that?
Which bank is good to use?
I live in california now, but im moving to Hawaii in november so it has to be a bank that is both in califrnia and hawaii.Submited by:Thy D

You can open an account at any bank with service in Hawaii and CA, as long as you have a parent or another adult also on the account.
There are no banks that I know of that allow minors to have a bank account on their own because minors are not allowed to enter into a legal contract.
I think US Bank there are tons of them across the US unlike most other bank. There are like 15 just in this somewhat small city I live in. I can access my account from anywhere across the country.
I think IDK if its in California and Hawaii but my 17yr old sister uses Washington Mutral (however its spelled)
