I am renting a house with several other girls. The landlords want to run a credit check on us and our parents. Do we need to sign anything for them to be able to run it?
Also, the landlords want a parent to co-sign on the lease because we are students. My parents won’t sign anything to help me out. Is a co-signer necessary? Could one of the other girl’s parents co-sign for me?

When I turned 18 I knew I needed credit cards to grow credit. When I reached the $500 limit on my first card and the $2000 limit on my new card when I found that this was not good for my credit. I hear that as long as you don’t spend more than half of the available balance your credit will be fine. Is this true?Submited by:Janie

My grandfather has added my uncle to his credit cards that have credit insurance on them. My uncle passed away and the credit card companys says they will not pay off the debt accumulated by my uncle because he was not the primary card holder. Is this legal? What rights does my grandfather have?

Hi..I’m 19 years old and I need a fast loan. My credit score is in the 700. Right now I don’t work and is currently staying home with parent enjoying the summer. In a couple of weeks I should have a job and should be getting around $800 to $1000 a month. The loan amount that I’m interest is about 15K. I really just need about 12k but just in case. I have Bank of America as my local bank right now.
After telling me what banks look for when applying for a personal loan, can you also recommend suggestions to what banks I should look for to get this fast loan?
